Hi, my name is Matt Eder, and I’m reaching out during one of the hardest times of my life.

My father, James Eder, recently passed away, and I’m doing everything I can to give him the respect and closure he deserves. He was a proud U.S. Navy veteran who served his country with honor. Now, it’s my turn to honor him.

As I navigate this unexpected loss, I’m also facing the reality of everything that needs to be taken care of — emotionally, physically, and financially.

I’m currently trying to manage:

• Funeral or cremation costs to lay him to rest with dignity

• Time off work to handle everything he left behind

• Clearing out and closing his apartment and storage sheds

• Sorting, transporting, donating, or preserving his belongings

• Any additional costs related to travel, legal paperwork, and estate matters

This is more than I can do on my own, and I’m humbly asking for support from anyone who’s willing and able. Whether it’s a donation, a share, or simply a kind message — every bit helps and means the world to me right now.
