Help me launch my photography to help others!

Hi, Curtis here.

I'm looking for help to launch my photography business. Not only is it potentially good for me to get into some deep and meaning full work but it also has some very postivie benefits for the community. More details about the Ethos behind it bellow

Also it is my 40th birthday coming up and I have never celebrated it! People have asked me what I would like, however donations for get this off the ground would be greatly appeciated!

The Ethos behind my photography:

From the start of our lives, people of all genders are told, directly or indirectly how to act, look, speak, express (or even supress) themselves in all areas of life and especially around sex & beauty.

Many 'boudoir' & beauty photoshoots conform to these standards, including airbrushing and editing to create an unnatural, 'porcelin' finish as that is deemed to be desirable. ​

For me, there is potential to compare yourself on a daily basis to these images and there may be moments when you realise that is not actually how you look on a daily basis. This could fuel the perpetual narative that if you dont look or act like that, you need to change, are undesirable, unworthy etc.

​I want to say here that I'm not totaly against this kind of photography, however it is more about creating a 'what could be' piece of art. Rather than MAKING you look beautiful, the experience I offer is to celebrate that you ARE beautiful, exactly as you are!

Including whatever 'flaws' you may feel you have, however you maybe feeling or whatever challenges you are facing.

Rather than dictating how you should pose, look or express yourself, I want to create a safely held container where you can simply be your authentic self and together we can discover who is really inside wanting to be let out!
