After more than a decade in IT and serving as a veteran, I’ve come to understand the importance of following your true passion. For me, that passion is cooking. The joy I get from creating dishes that people love, and the connections I make through food, inspire me to build something meaningful.
Over the last eight months, I’ve been working as an Uber driver to make ends meet, but my heart lies in the kitchen. Every week, I cook for a group of friends, and seeing their enjoyment drives me to dream bigger. I've gained experience working in several restaurants and helped a friend open his own taco spot, and now I’m ready to bring that same energy to my own venture.
I’m working to open a micro-restaurant, starting small at the local farmer’s market, using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create the best burgers around. With your support, I can purchase the equipment and supplies I need, cover licensing and permitting fees, and take the first steps toward building my business. Additional donations will help me secure a business loan and work towards financial independence as I grow.
This journey has always been about serving others—whether it was in the Army, supporting people through IT, or now sharing my love of food. I’m excited to take this next step and would be honored if you could help me make this dream a reality. Your contribution will not only support me, but also help bring a unique culinary experience to the community. Thank you for being a part of this exciting chapter!
The first $3,500 will buy the equipment, supplies and licensing/permitting necessary to start selling my food at the local Albany Farmer's Market.
The 2nd goal is to raise approximately $20,000 for a loan down payment.
If my wildest dreams are met at $50,000 I'll have more ownership of my business and a longer runway to startup!
