Hi everyone,
I’m developing a new live music project called Glitch XP – a high-energy drumming show combining epic music, powerful live drums, an electrifying light show and a programmable LED mask.
As many of you know, education and creativity have always been really important to me, and a big goal for this project is to take it into schools, where I can run engaging rhythm and music sessions for students that help build confidence, support mental health and wellbeing and encourage creativity through music.
The project is to help students and youth feel and experience something that takes them out of their own heads and try to help them find the joy of music
The idea is to combine a live performance with interactive activities that help children explore rhythm, creativity and confidence through music. I’d love to create something that inspires young people and shows them how music, technology and performance can come together in exciting ways.
Alongside school visits, I also plan to take the Glitch XP show out to street performances, festivals, and eventually corporate/public events , building it into a unique live act that blends music, rhythm and visual energy.
To get the project started I need to invest in some portable performance equipment, including: • a powerful battery speaker system so performances can be heard clearly in outdoor spaces and school halls
• drum hardware and upgrades to make the kit portable and reliable for travelling between venues
• portable performance lights to create the light show and enhance the visual experience
• a programmable LED performance mask that adds another visual element and helps make the show exciting and memorable for audiences
I am raising some funds myself but I’ve created this page to see if anyone would like to support the project and help bring it to life.
Every contribution helps move the idea forward – whether that’s £5, £10, or simply sharing the page.
Anyone who supports will be able to follow the journey as Glitch XP grows and starts appearing in schools and live performances. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for supporting my music and creative ideas. James
