To whoever is reading this, I first off would like to thank you for taking the time out of your day to consider helping me.
At the end of July while I was on my way to visit family in Massachusetts, I developed a headache which would not go away. Upon arriving at a hospital out there, a scan of my brain showed extensive bleeding as a result of a tumor in my brain. I underwent surgery and luckily have not lost any motor function or cognitive ability to much extent though I am very far from being considered healed. The tumor is related to the cancer I have been battling since 2018, Ewing Sarcoma which is currently in my skull, neck, and right femur. The current treatment plan I've been on has failed as a result of this brain bleed, and thus I will be starting new treatment over the coming weeks. Between recovering from surgery and starting new treatment, my ability to return to work is not something on the table for the coming months. Being that I've been undergoing treatment for years, I have only worked part time and the financial assistance from my job will only cover a portion of the gap in my bills while I adjust to prioritize my health for the foreseeable future. It is with great hope that by the end of the year I'll be able to return to work, though I cannot rush the process and any help would provide so much relief. Between rent, groceries, car insurance and loan, treatment costs and copays for oncology visits things will be tight. I ask that out of the kindness of your heart you consider donating to helping allow me to focus on my health and get back to as normal a life as I can.
