Help me keep up with all my friends.

Hi my names Bailey and I’m 5 years old. I have a condition called spina bifida and hydrocephalus. This means I’m paralysed from the waist down and unable to stand or walk. I use a manual wheelchair to get around and I’m very good in it on flat stable surfaces (and love whizzing down hills fast!) I’m desperate to be more independent and would love to keep up with my sister and all my friends. Currently my wheelchair struggles on any uneven or rough terrain like grass. This means when my friends play on the field I struggle to keep up and going slow is not my favourite!

my mummy is hoping to raise £4000 to get me a ‘triride’ attachment for my chair which will transform my current wheelchair into an electric trike that can handle lots of different terrain. This will transform not only my home life but also my school life… and make my chair so much faster!
