I’m in the midst of what some people would call a work of horror. What some people would prefer to believe was some torturously bad AI generated story.

I wish it was. I wish this wasn’t my reality. But here I am, and I’m somehow still alive. I have to admit to myself, no matter how difficult it’s been for me historically, that I need other’s help and support. I need people. I need someone to show me that my life can be more than this. That I can be dug out of this pit of despair I’m in. Because right now, everything feels out of reach. Impossible. Desperate. Dark and depraved.

I intend to get a fresh start, where I don’t have to rely on the skeletons of my past to cart me to my future.

Please, please help me see that this isn’t all that’s left for me. Help me have a future where I don’t have to be in pain to be loved. Where I don’t have to receive help from the ones who hurt me.
