Hi friends,

For over a month now, the front door of my building has been broken. We had to board it up, and to try and make it less of an eyesore, I glued fake plants on it just to make the space feel a little more cheerful. But truthfully, it weighed on me every day. This is the door that welcomes people in, and having it broken just didn’t feel right.

I finally had the repairs done — it cost me over $4,000 out of pocket. It was money I really didn’t have to spare, but the building needed to be secure and welcoming again.

That’s why I’m asking for help. If you’re able to chip in, even a little, it would mean so much. And if you can’t donate, sharing this with others helps just as much.
