I’m a single dad doing everything I can to stay connected with my kids. Every weekend, I drive to New Jersey to pick them up, making sure we get precious time together. I work six days a week, but after child support and bills, it’s a struggle to make ends meet. My car is my lifeline for these visits, but it’s been breaking down a lot lately. Every time I manage to save up for one repair, something else goes wrong. I’m worried that soon I might not be able to keep up, or worse, that my car could give out while my kids are with me.
