I've been in the garage door business for over 20 years and recently injured my shoulder on the job. There are two high grade tears in my rotator cuff, and it's been three weeks since the injury. I'm still waiting for Workmans Comp to approve the surgery I need. In the meantime, bills keep coming in, and I'm getting further in debt. I'm just about to lose my truck and have my utilities cut off. While I will eventually receive 75% of my pay, that missing 25% is making it impossible to keep up. I had to pay out of pocket for some of my care because Workmans Comp was slow with paperwork, and it took them over two weeks just to approve my MRI. I only received three days of pain medication and have been suffering since. Once surgery is finally approved and completed, I'll be off work for another 12-25 weeks for intensive physical therapy, and I may only regain up to 90% function in my shoulder. My wife is disabled and unable to work, so we have no way to make up the difference. The funds raised will go directly to my truck payment, utilities, and food. If you can help in any way, please do. It would mean the world to us. I just need a little help covering expenses until I can get back to work full time. I'm a hardworking father and grandpa who very seldom asks for help, but right now I'm pleading for support. I will be forever grateful and appreciative of any help I receive. Thank you and God Bless you all.
