Help me keep my oxygen machine running

My name is Roderick, and I’m reaching out for help to keep my power on so I can continue using my oxygen machine. I've lived an independent life where I've always tried to be the person that others can depend on, so it pains me to have to be the one in dire need of help.

I’ve been struggling with chronic asthma for my entire life, and I've also been struggling with long COVID for the better part of a year, which has made it nearly impossible to breathe or sleep without medical support. My oxygen machine is essential for my health, but it requires electricity to run, and I’m unable to find work right now due to my condition.

Before my breathing took a turn, I worked a job I loved and was able to stand on my own two feet. However, my condition set me back physically to the point that I had no choice but to leave it since I could barely breathe. Since then, my breathing has only gotten worse. Despite this, I've tried my hardest to find remote work; however, I simply haven't been able to. I've applied to dozens and dozens of jobs, and have only ended up rejected, ghosted, or a scam target by every job I've applied to, and it's made life even that much more extremely challenging recently.

I've managed to hold off my power provider from shutting things off, but unfortunately, they're out of patience, since the bills have piled up over the past year. Keeping my place heated through the Michigan winter and keeping my oxygen machine running continuously have both racked up a big bill, and I'm running out of options. Without power, I risk losing access to the oxygen I need every day.
