In March 2024, I lost my job as a delivery driver for a 3rd party Amazon company. It took me a month and a half to find another job, and ever since then, I’ve been struggling to keep up. I’ve always been a month behind on rent, just making the minimum payment to avoid eviction, and constantly trying to catch up on bills. This month, I’ve reached a point where I can’t afford the minimum payment needed to prevent being evicted, and I’m running out of options to keep my home.

This home isn’t just a roof over my head—it’s also where my two cats and I feel safe. The stress of not knowing if we’ll have a place to stay has been overwhelming, but I believe that with a little help, I can get back on track.
