Hi, my name is Nora, and I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help like this. Three years ago, I lost my husband, and since then, life has been a constant uphill battle. I’ve done everything I can to stay strong and keep moving forward, but recently things have become overwhelming. After losing my job in June due to struggles with depression and anxiety, I’ve been working hard to rebuild—but the financial strain has caught up to me. Right now, I’m working two jobs, doing everything I can to stay afloat, but it’s still not enough to keep up with my mortgage and falling behind on my truck payments. I’m doing my best, but the gap keeps growing.

If it were just me, I might be able to figure something out—but I also have my three dogs, who are my family. Because of their breed, finding a rental would be extremely difficult, and the thought of losing my home and not being able to keep them safe breaks my heart. This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, but I’m choosing to set my pride aside and ask for help. Any contribution, no matter how small, would go directly toward keeping my home, catching up on bills, and giving me a chance to stabilize and move forward.
