Help me Keep my Family Safe from Mold Infestation.

UPDATED UPDATE:

Our second mold inspection report has just come back and counted over 4.9 million spores of Cladosporium (a different but common type of toxic mold) on the airduct grills in our bedrooms. The safety threshold for this kind of mold in spore count should be less than 4 hundred. (New photo added). We have remediation for our ducts officially scheduled for next week and then to follow, air scrubbing the contaminated parts of the house. Currently, we will not know just how long we need to stay out of the house until Wednesday. Keep us in your prayers and thank you so so much.

UPDATE:

we have had another mold inspection done and it is in the airducts. Thankfully this means no wood or sheet rock removal but this means duct fogging or replacement based on the mold test results. This money would be used to help pay for that service as well as putting my grandmother and the pets in an AIRBNB while they work.

My name is Dani and my grandmother is under a mold infestation emergency, I am her caregiver and also care for two other disabled adults while working full time. Its safe to say I am carrying a lot and my bank account has been firmly depleted. Due to leaks and also due to State Farm being a terrible corporation, Ive had to recently pay out of pocket to replace my grandmother's roof and clear out sheet rock in a room that the leak was at its worst and created mold. After sheetrock removal, for a few weeks we deemed that mold gone and got to work on the roof. But shortly before roof work started, that musty/moldy smell came back and has gotten stronger every day. I fear it has now ballooned past my capabilities and I have to bring in a remediator to remove wood and sheetrock.

If this mold spreads to the rest of the house…. Its over for me and my family. We have nowhere else to go and I cannot submit my grandmother to that kind of dangerous environment.

Anything helps. I set the goal to 20,000 because I believe in God and I’ve prayed for provision so I’m keeping the jar wide open. But honestly, anything helps. $5 $10 whatever.
