Help Me Keep My Family Safe: Facing Eviction and Uncertainty
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Andrea Manning, and I find myself in an incredibly difficult situation. I’m reaching out today because I have no other options left.
Last year, I lost my father, a devastating blow that left me and my family reeling. In the midst of that grief, my grandmother’s health also began to decline, and she is now in the hospital. I’ve been doing everything I can to keep it together, but it feels like one thing after another.
I am a recent university graduate, and while I’ve worked hard to earn my degree, I’ve been unable to find a job in any field. The struggle to build a better future for my family feels impossible. Despite my best efforts, opportunities remain out of reach. I volunteer at a mental health hospital and at my church, trying to give back to my community, but it doesn’t pay the bills.
As a single mother and an only child, I carry the responsibilities of my children and my mother. Every day is a constant juggling act, trying to support them while also facing my own personal struggles.
Now, I’m facing the terrifying reality of eviction. The place I’m renting is no longer an option, and I can’t afford to move anywhere else. I’ve tried every avenue, but I am out of resources. What makes this situation even more heart-wrenching is that I cannot go to a shelter. They won’t accept dogs, and my dog, Chip, is my emotional support and a constant source of comfort for my children. I will not give up my dog; it’s simply not an option.
To make matters worse, I cannot afford to buy food for my family. I regularly go to food banks just to feed my children and myself. The struggle to keep my family fed and healthy is becoming harder each day, and I fear we will soon run out of resources.
I’ve done everything I can to create a better life for my children and my family, but despite all the effort, we’re facing a life on the streets. I don’t want to give up, and I don’t want to see my children suffer, but I feel like I’m out of options.
I’m humbly asking for your support during this incredibly difficult time. The funds will help me pay for a place to stay, get back on my feet, buy food, and support my family during this crisis. Every penny will go directly towards securing a safe place to live, keeping us out of the streets, and giving my children the stability they need.
Please, if you can, consider donating and sharing this with others. Your support means more to me than I can express. Together, we can weather this storm. Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
With gratitude,
Andrea Manning
