Help me keep my dad's heart beating

Hola,

Mi nombre es Febe Castillo soy la orgullosa hija de Julio Castillo un padre, esposo, amigo y humano sabio, trabajador, divertido y amoroso. El 8 de febrero de 2022 tuvo un severo ataque al corazón que lo envió al hospital, estuvo en la unidad de cuidados intensivos y luego fue transferido a una unidad regular un día después donde pasó dos días. No pudimos mantenerlo en el hospital todo el tiempo que necesitaba debido a los costos que esto representaba.
 
Actualmente se encuentra en el hospital del Toráx esperando un cateterismo, el cual necesita para desbloquear sus arterias y determinar si necesita una cirugía cardíaca para reparar el daño que tiene actualmente su corazón. Sus médicos le han aconsejado que si no se somete a este procedimiento podría tener otro ataque al corazón que puede ser fatal.
 
Sacudidos por la pandemia, estamos empezando a reconstruir nuestro negocio familiar, lo que significa que no hay muchos recursos financieros en este momento para este procedimiento, que es muy caro, y además tenemos que viajar a otra ciudad donde se realizará el cateterismo.
 
Tenemos la esperanza de que esta operación desbloquee sus arterias, lo que permitirá que su corazón siga latiendo durante más tiempo. Como familia, y especialmente como su hija, queremos que el corazón de mi padre se recupere para que pueda volver a hacer las pequeñas cosas que le gustan, como pasear, tocar su guitarra favorita o ser un miembro activo de su iglesia. Quiero que mi padre nos vea a mí y a mi hermano pequeño graduarnos de la universidad.
Por estas razones y muchas más, les pido su apoyo financiero en estos tiempos difíciles.

My name is Febe Castillo I am the proud daughter of Julio Castillo a wise, hardworking, fun, and loving father, husband, friend, and human. On February 8th, 2022 he had a severe heart attack which sent him to the hospital, he was in the intensive care unit and then transferred to a regular unit a day later where he spent two days. We were not able to keep him in the hospital as long as he needed to be due to the costs this represented.

 

He was sent home where he has been waiting for a catheterization, he needs this produce to unblock his arteries and determine if he needs heart surgery to repair the damage his heart currently has. His doctors have advised that if he does not undergo this procedure he might have another heart attack which can be fatal.

 

Shaken by the pandemic we are just now starting to rebuild our family business which means, there are not a lot of financial resources at the moment for this procedure which is very expensive, we also have to travel to a different city where the catheterization will take place.

 

We are hopeful this surgery will unblock his arteries which will allow his heart to keep on beating for longer. As a family and especially as his daughter we want my dad's heart to recover so that he can go back to doing the little things he enjoys like taking walks, playing his favorite guitar, or being an active member of his church. I want my dad to see me and my little brother graduate college.
