My dad took a huge gamble this year, he borrowed money to get me into a Gen3 TCR car, giving me the best possible shot at chasing the TCR UK championship.

That risk looked like it was finally paying off last weekend at Snetterton. Despite starting Race 1 from the very back (due to a grid penalty after changing our car), I fought my way through the entire field to finish P2—a massive result that kept my title hopes alive.

But in Race 2, disaster struck. I was involved in a big incident—through no fault of my own—which caused over £30,000 worth of damage to our Hyundai Elantra N TCR. The car is now out of action, and heartbreakingly, we don't have the funds to repair it in time for the final round.

Unless we can raise the money to get the car back on track, my championship fight will end here.
