Help me keep my art career going!

Hi, my name is Holly Daughtrey, a 42-year-old, long time artist currently working in comics and graphic arts. I've recently come into some computer problems as of late, and my position doesn't net enough money to afford to buy new hardware when my system starts to fail or when a tablet stops working. I've worked the heck out of this all-in-one machine that I've had for a decade, but it's failing now, as well as the simple little graphics tablet I was gifted a year ago. I've tried hard to keep the machine going but being an all-in-one, it makes it difficult to fix or upgrade, and it's already upgraded as far as it was meant to.

 

So I'm reaching out for help.

 

Without a new machine, I can't work or create the digital art and comics I do for my fans. I hardly even ever ask for help from strangers because I'm used to being able to fix the problems I get all by myself. This time I can't do it alone. I don't need top-of-the-line electronics or tech. Just something that can last a long time, has enough power to do my work, and eventually might upgrade later. I have a list of items I need for a decent system to do what I need to keep working. I'm asking for $1500.00 to cover any surprise tax and shipping costs (although I might be lowballing it, and taxes may end up making it $1600.00).

 

Please, this is my life's work, and I desperately need help. Doing art and comics is all I have left. I am physically unable to work a normal job due to medical issues anymore to raise money and pay for something like this. I hope many of you will be helpful and understanding.
