I have been struggling for a while and I need some help. I probably should have created this fundraiser months ago; I have avoided asking for help because it is difficult to feel worthy of help when so many of us are struggling.

This past winter, rainwater was leaking into my car and caused a mold problem. It was very expensive to get remediated, and I am still struggling to pay off the bill. In order to prevent mold from coming back, my car is in need of an essential replacement part. I am fundraising to pay off the bill for the remediation, as well as the cost for the replacement part (and the labor to install it). It has become clear that I won't be able to afford this without help. I am hoping to get this done this summer, before seasonal rain could wreck more havoc. I am in absolutely no place financially to replace my vehicle, so I need to maintain the one I have, and keep it as safe and functional as possible. Because my car is over 15 years old, this part is tricky to source, and could easily become way more expensive soon, due to tariffs.
