Help Me Keep My Car and My Independence
Hello, my name is Venita Littlejohn. I’m living on a fixed income, and I rely on my car to get to work, attend church, and to get to my cardiologist appointments as well as to visit my young grandchildren. Unfortunately, my car has needed a lot of repairs recently. I've spent so much money on repairs at the dealership and through other mechanics and still it needs so much more work. I’ve already put everything I could into keeping it running. Now, I’ve been told it needs another major repair costing over $3,000, and I just can’t afford it. The car repeatedly breaks down and it's become a safety hazard and I can't move it any longer as now I have anxiety when I even try to drive it.
Without my car, I have no reliable way to get to my medical appointments or my job. I’ve been falling behind financially because of these unexpected expenses, and it’s becoming harder to stay on top of my bills and responsibilities.
I’m doing my best to stay strong through these hardships, but I really need some help right now to get my car back on the road. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean the world to me and help me keep my independence, my health, and my stability.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story and for any help you can give.
With gratitude,
Venita
