HELP ME KEEP KAI IN COLLEGE

Hello beautiful souls! It took alot for me to create this fundraiser, and I have exhausted myself trying to find another way. I had to swallow my pride and realize that I need help. Most of you know me and know that I am a mother of 3. My two oldest are in college. This fundraiser is to help me keep my son Kai in UTA. I am a single mother who has fought hard to give my kids everything I could. COVID has put a been a kick in the butt for all of us. For Kai it meant losing half of his Junior year and his entire Senior year in high school. This also meant him losing his Spring Training, Summer Football League and his Entire Football Season his Senior Year. This loss basically eliminated any chance of a football scholarship. All his hard work over the last 10 years gone down the drain. It devastated him and broke his heart, his dream was to play D1 Football at Georgia Tech. But through it all he still perservered and graduated WITH HONORS, and applied to UTA because it was cheaper to go to an in state school. This kid is so amazing and has a heart of Gold! Always giving of himself, volunteering, taking care of his siblings, working hard in school, athletics and at home. He has gone through so much but never gives up, keeps pushing,  and always going the extra mile in everything he does.

 

I am asking for help with his Tuition, Housing and Meal Plan because the financial aide, pell grant and small scholarships are just not enough to cover it, and I dont want to pull him out of school. He is already doing so well in his classes and enjoying being a college student. With his goals of graduating with honors with a Bachelors degree in Business and a Minor in Finance and one day owning his own business, pulling him out would break his heart. We will be able to get more financial aid for his Spring Semester but I just need help getting him there.
