Help me keep creating! New tech needed

Hi! My name is Betzi Bullring and I am a photographer, graphic designer, and music producer from out of Calgary, Alberta. My photography and design company is called Liminal Disgraces Media. My pronouns are she/they and I am a proud nonbinary/trans person.

This year has been one of the hardest years for me both financially and mentally. I have tried to find employment all year with no luck, and am waiting to get on income support. I have struggled with consistent clientele for my self employment, and in this time have ran into some troubles. Both my Ipad earlier this year and now just yesterday my laptop finally kicked the bucket. This puts my endeavors as a graphic designer and music producer on hold, and makes my career as a photographer very difficult.

Im not one to ask for help to replace such things but with how hard this year has been, I have been left with no choice. I cannot replace the Ipad and laptop that have both malfunctioned on me, and need to continue to be able to help make the new album with my bands Cultist and CXM, as well as my new solo project. I have commissions that I have to cancel with graphic design until I can get a new computer. I got myself a used laptop to celebrate my sobriety just for it to stop working and do not know where to go from here.

I am asking the internet, my friends and my family for help to replace these things so I can keep creating, making money so I can eat, and keep my mental health as good as I can. I find making music and self employment as a designer and photographer essential to my wellbeing and am very scared and uncertain of my future, mental state and financial security without these things. Many places will not hire me due to appearance and being highly neurodivergent in person, so I have been left with no choice but to ask others to help keep my passions going. The only other means of making money I currently have right now is busking and we are experiencing a rainy summer where days are getting far and few between where I can make money. I do not want to quit my dreams and my only means of making money as a queer alternative person in a conservative province, but life has been very difficult for me since moving back last year and Ive ran out of options after many attempts at stability and work.

I plan on getting myself a used Ipad and a laptop with some decent ram with this money should I reach my goal. Thank you for your time, consideration and support.
