Help me keep a roof over our heads while battling cancer

Hi, my name is LaSaie, and I never imagined I’d be in this position, but I truly need help.

I was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of cancer that has completely changed my life. While trying to come to terms with this diagnosis and diagnosis in treatment, I was let go from my job, leaving me without an income during the most difficult time of my life.

Despite everything, I’m doing my best to stay strong — not just for myself, but for my kids. They are my world, and right now, my biggest fear is losing the roof over our heads and being separated from each other due to financial hardship.

I’ve applied for financial assistance and am currently waiting for approval. I also applied for SSI/SSDI, but those decisions take time. Unfortunately, I was denied unemployment, leaving me with no immediate support and bills piling up.

Every dollar raised will go directly to keeping a safe and stable home for my children and me — covering rent, utilities, food, and other basic needs while I continue to fight this illness and wait for support programs to come through.
