Hi everyone,
I’m currently doing my degree in Wildlife & Conservation/ Environmental Management, and this summer I’ve been offered something pretty incredible - the chance to join a month-long ecological survey expedition across Norway with my university (SRUC and the University of Edinburgh)
It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity to get real field experience in one of the most stunning environments in the world. We’ll be surveying wildlife, studying habitats, building our practical skills, and working alongside conservation professionals I would never normally have access to. It would make a huge difference to my future career, especially as I hope to eventually work in ecology.
Because I’m a full-time student (and a single parent) I live on a really tight budget atm and I cannot afford the upfront costs on my own. My university is covering the main travel costs, but I still need help with the remaining contributions - things like my deposit, basic equipment, and food while I’m away.
I’m hoping to raise £1000 to help make this possible.
If you’re able to support me, even a couple of pounds, it would genuinely mean the world. And if you cannot donate, sharing this link would help more than you know.
Thank you so much for reading, and for any support big or small. This trip is something I never thought I would have the chance to do, and I’m so grateful for anyone helping me get there.
