Hello, I’m Victoria Oh.

I have had the honour of being selected to represent Nottinghamshire and the UK at the 26th World Scout Jamboree in 2027 in Poland - a unique global gathering that celebrates unity, adventure and discovery among young people from every corner of the world.

Scouting has profoundly shaped my character - from being the only girl in my Beaver troop at 7 years old to becoming a Patrol Leader and advocate for diversity and inclusion. At school I’ve learned to pursue excellence, show empathy and approach the world with curiosity. These values will guide me as I represent the UK, Nottinghamshire, and my community on this remarkable journey.

By attending the Jamboree, I hope to be a role model - inspiring girls from all backgrounds and ethnicities to embrace scouting and all it has to offer.

To make this opportunity a reality, I am aiming to raise £3,500. As part of my fundraising efforts, I will be training for and completing a 10km run in March 2026 that test my resilience, focus and determination. Through this experience (along with other challenges and fundraising initiatives), I hope to encourage others to see that with commitment and perseverance, anything is possible.

Every contribution brings me one step closer to Poland - and to achieving a goal that represents not only my personal growth, but also the spirit of adventure and service at the heart of Scouting.
