Hi everyone,

My name is Austin whidden, and I’m writing this with a broken heart.

I’m only 21 years old, and I just lost my mom—the only parent I’ve ever had. It was always just the two of us. We grew up together, leaned on each other, and faced life side by side. She wasn’t just my mom, she was my best friend, my support system, and my biggest cheerleader.

My mom loved life deeply. Everywhere she went, she made connections, lifted people up, and filled the room with her vibrant, radiant energy. Her personality was truly one of a kind—strong, loving, and unforgettable. She went above and beyond for me as a mother and did everything she could to give me the best life possible. She went hard for her son, and I will forever be grateful for that.

Her passing was completely unexpected, and I am struggling to navigate this loss while also facing the financial reality that comes with it. We have no savings for funeral expenses, and I’m currently in a position where I may have to sell my car just to afford her casket. I’m still very young and trying to figure life out, and this is an overwhelming weight to carry alone.

I’m humbly asking for help—whether that’s a donation, a share, or a kind word. Any amount, big or small, truly means the world to me and helps me honor my mom the way she deserves.
