Help Me Honor Veterans in Marathon run

My name is Jason, and I am 41 years old. I've been a marathon runner for 9 years. I'm well experience runner, but in time, I hope I will progress to Boston run. I have a passion for running and enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories about how they became runners. Every runner has a story and a challenge to overcome, no matter what their age is.

I never honored a person in a run until one day I got the news that my long-time best friend passed away; it brought me to tears. His name was Marcus Flynt. It's been over a year since I did a full marathon in Hilton Head, South Carolina. I didn't care about my PR time; I just knew I was going to finish the race with strength and honor for my best friend.

It's been almost a year since I joined the Navy, and I thank the Navy for allowing me to serve my country. I graduated from boot camp this past January. I started running again and have started seeing my form come back.

I'm coming to you with this GoFundMe page because it's in my heart and calling for me to do something honorable again in my life, but this time it's for a complete level of veterans I never heard of or knew about at all. I recently volunteer a event that was for Travis Minion Foundation. I learn so much about foundation and I believe its worthy cause to honor these veterans serve our country.

I would like to run a marathon in honor Marine Corps 1stLt Travis Manion gave the ultimate sacrifice on April 29, 2007, on his second deployment to Iraq. While on patrol searching for a suspected insurgent house in Fallujah, Travis, his fellow Marines, and Iraqi Army counterparts were ambushed. Travis led a counterattack against enemy forces, drawing fire away from his wounded comrades and allowing every member of his patrol to survive. For his actions, he was awarded the Silver Star and Bronze Star with Valor. Today, over 300,000 Spartans nationwide carry forward the legacy of fallen heroes like Travis by leading with character and living out the “If Not Me, Then Who…” ethos. TMF foundation, so I need sponsor spot for MCM marathon event I want to do because open to public open has been sold out. Marine Marathon biggest event in USA and their biggest Sponsor is Navy Credit Union.

My expenses are custom running shirt from the foundation, 200 dollars for full marathon shoes is all I need for running gear. Two-day hotel expense 400 dollars and amount of 1000 dollars to TMF Foundation.

I have no reason to scam or anything else because I am Navy Sailor on USS BATAAN.
