Hi guys, I'm not normally the one asking for handouts but it's been a big ~3 years in Germany, not without hiccups, and I'd really appreciate your support in getting set up in Australia again while I look to find some stability and continue to make progress in my career on and off the court.

For background, I worked full time for 5 years immediately after finishing highschool to be able to support myself in my early adult career, and to save the money to commit to my dream of full time/professional table tennis in Europe. In 2020 I managed to make that move amid corona, just before Australian borders were fully restricted, however shortly after arriving, my first season in German league was cancelled, which means I missed out on the equivalent of $10,000 AUD in the first 8 months, eating away heavily at my savings.

As well as playing full time and studying university online, I took up a coaching job in Germany to get by and commit to staying here longer. While my commitments eventually led to me being selected to play in the Commonwealth games in 2022, I was only able to afford to come home and see my family once (as part of a mandatory, unsupported trip to play national championships) during my time away, and now I'm coming home shortly with minimal savings to get setup with.

I'm just hoping some of you can spare some money to help me begin my new life back in Australia, including purchasing a car, attending important upcoming tournaments and finding somewhere more permanent to live. These are all vital to my transition back to Australia as I look towards the next chapter and leading up to the Olympics in 2024
