Help me hike Everest!

My dearest friends and colleagues,

Friday September 16th I will be embarking on a 36 hour hiking challenge to hike the vertical distance of Everest (29,029 feet). It takes place in the old growth forest of Whistler Canada. The hike includes 8 trips up the mountain, each 3.9 miles long and 3,900 vertical feet. Thankfully, we get to Gondola down. While I’ve done my best to train, life and my two kiddos have limited my training time. Therefore, my goal is to do 5 loops, with a stretch goal of 8. As a means for motivation, I’d like to raise money to help buy a generator for Sky Lake Retreat Center in the Lower Hudson Valley. I’m on the board of Sky Lake, a very very small non-profit that rents out its building to all sorts of programs, from yoga, to the arts, to mediation, and family camp. For those Generac analysts out there, we are looking to install the 22KW Home Backup Generator.
