Help me help Sasha in Kiev

My name is Monica, and I have been helping a close friend in Kiev for the past two years with any money I can spare, but it's hard. Sasha was a good friend of mine when I lived in Moscow, and he is one of the best people I've ever met. His story is almost comically tragic - he lived an uncomfortable life as a very masculine woman until he was finally able to get a passport that reflects his true nature, only to return to Kiev and be faced with conscription since he's finally able to live as a man! I know that everyone in Ukraine needs help right now, but, like a starfish on the beach, this is the human I am connected to that I want to help. If you can give anything at all, it will help a good person in the depths of despair.
