Help me help my mama Paula Jean Owsley
Hi, for those of you that do not know me, I am Heather Bach. And for those of you who do know me, I am the hard, working, and loving daughter of Paula Jean Owsley and I need your help. My mama was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung Cancer in September 2020. Because of this, I decided to put my career on hold and took a break from school to concentrate and be a full-time caretaker for my mama. She worked for a company for 27 years and never had any type of insurance or retirement. I have depleted my savings account and have been paying out of pocket for all expenses. I now am having to ask for help. I love my mama more than anyone in the world. She is my best friend and my confidant in so many things in this world. We have shared so much, and I want to continue to share moments with her.
Recently, she went to ER with uncontrollable pain and as of today, is still in the hospital. Hearing your mother cry in agony and not being able to help her from being tortured and tormented by this beast of a disease is heart wrenching and has taken a toll on both of our lives. My mama is in a great deal of pain and I am doing all I can to help her and make her as comfortable as possible. If you are able to, I am asking for your help. I would wholeheartedly be thankful and appreciative. Anything will help. I just need to make the inevitable plans and cannot, due to depleting all of my funds. I have reached out to my father but, he is of no help. I am an only child, single, and have been doing this all on my own since her diagnosis. Anything will help, I am heartbroken and at a loss with what to do next.

I will try everyday to be more like you - a selfless, generous, loving, caring, sweet, strong, independent, and humble woman. Thank you for being the best mama to me. I’m so lucky, honored, and fortunate to have been born to you. I love you My One and Only Mama. Love, Your One and Only.

Lord, thank you so much for this very special lady who is truly a gift from you. Thank you for bringing her into my life and impacting so many other lives through her caring heart and who you’ve made her to be.
