I’m writing, maybe for the first time, for personal help.

My dad was just diagnosed with bowel cancer, so I will be going back to the UK to help post surgery and/or chemo. - We already nearly lost him last year from something else so the poor guy is having a rough time.

I don’t have benefits at work, so it’ll be potentially 3-4 weeks or more for loss of earnings, but it’s necessary to be with family.

I’m asking for help to cover costs of rent, utilities, flights home, pet sitters, loss of earnings, whatever I might need to help my folks with as well. and anything anyone can help with is deeply appreciated.
