Help Me help my beautiful daughter Piper with FND

Hi I am Daniel, The loving father of Piper Martin and husband to Tiffany.

A little bit of Pipers back story

Growing up Piper was always out going, strong, happy and cheerful. Then this all turned with a blackout / faint in the shower about 3 years ago. From this faint came another at school. Then the next faint she started to have a seizure.

1 seizure turned into a few and then they exploded. On one day she had over 500 small seizures, multiple trips to hospital, multiple tests (MRI, CT, Blood, Epilepsy tests) and nothing was found to be out of the ordinary. We attended Geelong hospital and the Royal Children's Hospital and had many doctors look at her and some even told her she was faking it all.

12 months on from the first seizure they started to calm down but she had developed Tourette's, ticks and muscle spasms. We spent thousands of dollars on medical treatments, specialists, 7 day brain scans and still nothing. Doctors were starting to call this FND (Functional neurologic disorder). Tiffany and I believe this was a band aid answer. We were told to take her to speak to someone as it could all be in her head.

Now our little 14 year old angel is in hospital again as now she has developed a stomach issue where she can not keep food down and has lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. This little girl of mine is the strongest person I know as Tiffany and I both agree we would of caved in after this kind of pressure. She still wakes up with a smile and when she can she lives her life to the best of her abilities.

Mum and Dad are so proud of you if you read this Piper. I am also proud of Tiffany for staying strong with Piper.

I have started this Go Fund Me to hopefully take some pressure off of the medical bills we have and are paying off and be able to get Piper into the help she needs. With medical expenses on the rise its a stress we don't need.
