Help me help my #1 guy

I am making this on behalf of my dad Roger who was in a car accident on August 6th. He had a younger kid recklessly driving slam into him and luckily everyone walked away. Sadly, the kids insurance company will not do anything towards my dad’s vehicle and he is now not able to have his car or have a way to work to support himself. My dad was delivering and was unaware he did not have the specific insurance he had to have for his insurance company to cover anything. He had a special kind but not the right one. We are struggling to even ask for any type of help but until we can figure something out we are reaching out to ask if anyone can help him out. We are not people to ever ask for help so this is hard enough to do. Anything you could do to help him and my family would be greatly appreciated.
