Support Minnesota's small business owners impacted by ICE

Help me help Minnesota's small business owners go from just surviving, because of the ICE invasion in our state, to thriving.

My name is Sheletta Brundidge and I'm a proud Minnesota entrepreneur.

I own ShelettaMakesMeLaugh.com, a promotion and production company and since starting my business six years ago, I've been an advocate for my fellow founders.

They are, we are, struggling with staffing, people are afraid to go to work, so businesses are closing early.

Folks are scared to eat out at restaurants, so sales are down.

There are no pop-ups and fun events for creatives and food producers to buy a table and sell their cupcakes and crochet mittens.

Every year I host a special entrepreneurs day at the Minnesota Capitol where hundreds of founders come to get access to political, social and financial capital.

The need is too great.

That's why I was excited, at first, to see that 20+ of Minnesota's top grossing and Fortune 500 companies like Target, come together to offer support, until I saw what they were offering: $3.5 million.

Somebody did the math and that's $125k a piece. For a big giant company like Target, that's the equivalent of the money in the coin jar on the nightstand in your bedroom.

If doing the minimum was the mandate, Minnesota's large corporations are doing a great job.

Those CEOs could give some of their million-dollar bonus money if they really wanted to make a difference, but they don't.

It's performative.

It's not enough.

Too many entrepreneurs are on the brink of closing up shop.

They need my help.

I need your help.

Please consider making a donation.

This is personal for me.

I want to personally raise $3.6 million to show the Minnesota corporate community that more than what they're offering can be done.

100-percent of that money being donated to me will be given to fellow small business owners in Minnesota who I have worked with in the past who have reached out to me for financial assistance to help their companies.

I will personally provide one-time $5,000 grants to individual entrepreneurs until all the money, every dime, has been exhausted.

These are fellow founders that I've worked with over the years in partnership doing good community work.

They don't need a handout, just a helping hand.

Together, if we can raise $3.6 million, we raise the bar.

Keep praying for Minnesota. We can feel your love!
