Help me help Leo and his family.

Hi, my name is Mario and I am raising funding to help my cousin's little boy with the costs of treating their 4 year old little boy, Leo. Leo and his family live in rural Mexico, outside La Piedad, Michoacan. Leo began having seizure like episodes for the last couple of months. Some professionals in the area even recommended "spiritual cleansing" as treatments.

After consulting with various medical professionals and colleagues, Leo needs evaluations and treatments that are considered a luxury to his family. A child presenting with Leo's symptoms in my or your area of the country would be immediately admitted to a Children's Hospital, undergo extensive blood work, brain imaging like MRI, Electroencephalograms, and would be started on treatment. This child would be treated by a team of professionals including a pediatric hospitalist, pediatric neurologist, physical and occupational therapy.

None of this is available in his area. The family requires public transportation 2 hours away. They require lodging while the family gets Leo treated. I am asking for funding to help cover the costs of travel, lodging, consults with doctors, evaluations and testing. Help with the costs of meds, follow up visits and treatments.
