Help Me Help Jason's Kids

When I read Danny’s post last week that Jason died I was in shock.  I read it a few times before I could muster up the strength to tell my wife. It was so shocking, still is, and will be for a long time - it is hard to believe or accept. Jason’s been a friend for over 40 years and although I didn’t know his kids well, I know they were his everything. He lived for them and talked about them all the time.  It was heartbreaking seeing them at the funeral service yesterday. Their pain must be unbearable and overwhelming.   Alec, 22, and Cameron, 20 need our help.  Jason was just getting his financial footing and didn’t have life insurance.  The boys have a lot of years ahead of them and anything we can do to alleviate financial burdens for them will be helpful.  No one likes asking anyone for money, but there isn’t anything I wouldn’t do for Jason and I know he would be comforted to know that his boys are well taken care of so help me do that - thank you.
