Srujan is a victim of a Horrible car accident in Frisco,TX. While exiting the highway, he was hit by a car from behind. At this point only cars had the damage and people were not hurt. Both the cars moved to the Shoulder to exchange the necessary insurance information. While they were in conversation, a third car came and hit the cars parked on the shoulder. This collision crushed Srujan’s left leg as he was standing in between the parked cars.
Doctors had to amputate Srujan's left leg from above the knee. He got multiple fractures on his right leg. He is coming out of the trauma and healing from the injuries. Pretty soon he needs to go through Prosthetic leg evaluations and rehabilitation.
Initial quote for the lifetime cost of a prosthetic leg is 1.3Million. We are trying to get second opinion from other clinics too and decide where to get it. The expenses are still going to be high. We had no clue that prosthetics are so expensive.
The hospital bills are going to be HUGE. On top of it, His job does not pay for the days he is going to be on leave. He needs assistance for covering his day-to-day expenses, transportation, and other costs until he can resume his life.
He needs full care until he gets back on his feet. His parents are trying to travel from India, but the procedure is taking time.
He hired a lawyer to get the insurance money from the second and third car owners. However, as per the lawyer, Srujan will receive a negligible amount as compensation as the other drivers didn’t have good liability limits. They don’t have any assets to go after either.
We are doing this Fund Raising to cover the costs of treatment, rehabilitation facilities, and care for Srujan as he transitions into a life that is different, but still his own.

Srujan has completed his Masters in (CSUF) California and now working here in Dallas.
He is an amazing son, good brother and a great friend. He is hardworking, enthusiastic and a strong person. First person to volunteer to help and always has the biggest smile on his face.
He is slowly working towards this dream and that has brought him from Hyderabad to California to Illinois and now Texas.
