Help me help Doug Ferguson get a car!

Hey everyone. My name is Bill. Ive never done a GoFundMe, but I've got a real good friend. Doug Ferguson is his name and he's one of the nicest people Ive had the pleasure of calling my friend.

Doug drives for a living using his own vehicle to pick up animal samples at various veterinarian clinics around Jefferson and surrounding counties in Kentucky. Doug is also an amateur photographer of wildlife and a friend to animals of all sorts.

Unfortunately, like many these days, life has hit on hard times.

Doug was driving a rather dicey country road with a low and soft shoulder and lost control and totaled his car. As a former delivery driver, I can sympathize as he only carried liability. Commercial full coverage insurance is really expensive!

Doug at the moment is also the only provider for his household and as you can imagine, bills add up quickly. Especially when something catastrophic happens.

I would like to start this GoFundMe to help Doug and his wife Tammy in order to give them some financial stability in an otherwise uncertain time, to help with short term bills but mostly to help fund a vehicle for work.

Insurance covers a rental car for only so long.
