Never thought I’d be here, but here I am. I am not too prideful to try and save Brio’s life. If you know me you know my animals are my world. The past 48 hours have been exhausting, emotionally and mentally. Brio is home and resting. She has a catheter because at this time, she is unable to pass any feces or urine on her own. She will be having surgery Monday morning to remove a large pelvic mass between her colon and spine. Surgery is our only option for a chance of survival. The mass is pressing down on her colon and urethra and nothing is able to move through. Brio is only 6 years old. I will eat Raman noodles for the rest of my life to give her a chance to live hers. I am already over $3,000 in and I’m not sure where surgery is going to take me. I have care credit but I am almost to my limit already from the past 2 days. I promise to pay it forward and if I receive more than I need I will donate any extra to a rescue or will see if my vet can set up a fund for others that may need assistance in the future.
