Hello, dear friends and family,
I hope this message finds you all doing well! As many of you know, I just finished my first year at the University of Alabama—and it’s been an incredible journey so far. I’ve made amazing memories, grown in so many ways, and I’m truly looking forward to continuing my studies this fall.
That said, this past year has also come with some unexpected challenges. Early in the school year, while playing a fun, tennis-like game with friends, I had an unfortunate accident and tore my ACL. Since then, it’s been a long and difficult process to get the necessary care. It’s taken months of waiting just to get approval for an MRI, physical therapy, and the injections I needed to manage the pain and try to improve mobility.
Now, the next big step is surgery. I’m scheduled to undergo ACL reconstruction on July 3rd, and while I’m grateful to finally be on the path to recovery, this part of the journey comes with its own set of challenges.
Unfortunately, my insurance will only cover a portion of the surgical costs, and on top of that, I’ll be out of work for several weeks during my recovery. As a college student, every dollar counts—and missing work makes it even harder to manage unexpected expenses like this.
I’m reaching out today to ask for your support. First and foremost, I ask for your prayers—for a successful surgery, a smooth and steady recovery, and for strength and peace through this whole process. Secondly, if you’re in a position to help financially, I would be incredibly grateful for any amount you’re able to give to help offset the cost of the procedure and recovery. No donation is too small, and every bit truly makes a difference.
I deeply appreciate your love, encouragement, and support. Thank you for being a part of my life and for walking with me through this difficult season. I can’t wait to be back on my feet, stronger than ever, and back to doing the things I love.
With gratitude and love, bri
