Hello, I'm Marty.

I'm reaching out for support as I face a journey of healing from a severe workplace injury that has deeply impacted my life. In May 2023, an accident at work left me with a devastating injury: my glove was caught on a tool, causing severe damage to my left hand and fingers. Despite undergoing surgery, not all of my nerves could be repaired, and I was later diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a chronic and debilitating condition that causes constant, intense pain.

Living with CRPS has been a daily battle. The pain never truly goes away. It’s with me all the time, affecting my ability to do simple, everyday tasks and drastically changing my quality of life. To manage this pain, I currently rely on 13 pills a day and a specially made compounded cream, which I apply multiple times to try to reduce the sensitivity and pain in my fingers. Additionally, I’ve undergone over a year and a half of physiotherapy, but the results have been limited, leaving me struggling with mobility and strength in my hand.

A Hopeful Path Forward – Treatment in Italy

After extensive research, I discovered a specialized treatment for CRPS at a facility in Italy that could give me a chance at reclaiming a pain-free life. The facility, offers Neridronate infusions, a treatment specifically designed for CRPS patients, and, after reviewing my medical history, they have approved me as a good candidate. The doctors believe this treatment could significantly reduce my pain and, hopefully, help me return to a more normal life without daily medication—sparing my liver and kidneys from the long-term effects of these drugs.

This treatment could truly be life-changing, but it comes with significant financial costs, including travel, accommodation, and medical expenses. Your contribution will not only help cover these costs but will also give me a chance at regaining my independence and a quality of life that feels out of reach right now.
