My name is Saliou Niang, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult moments of my life. On August 13, 2025, while riding my electric scooter home after delivering food, I was involved in a serious accident. I was doing deliveries to pay for my school and cover basic living expenses, trying to stay independent and responsible. Unfortunately, that night changed everything. The accident left me with multiple injuries, including a fractured wrist that requires surgery. Since that day, I have not been able to work at all. The pain, limited mobility, and medical restrictions have completely stopped my ability to earn income.

What makes this even harder is that the surgery I need is not affordable for me. Medical bills continue to pile up, and without surgery, my recovery is uncertain. I’m struggling not only physically, but emotionally—knowing I want to heal, return to work, and continue my education, yet being held back by financial limitations. I’ve always believed in working hard and standing on my own, but right now I truly need help.
