Help Me Heal after being Burned thru No Fault of my Own

 

I am a Spartanburg-native and was in Asheville, North Carolina the week of June 16th, 2025 in preparation to provide post-surgery care for my mother later in the week. Her surgery has now been postponed indefinitely after what happened to me;

 

I was at a restaurant with a friend when- thru no fault of my own- I was catastrophically burned by fire. I have second-degree burns on my face, neck, chest, arms and hands and have been rendered incapable of taking care of myself, much less my mother as planned. Due to pending legal issues, I cannot list the details of the incident.

 

The pain is tremendous and the required travel back-and-forth to the Burn Center in Augusta, Georgia has already depleted my savings. Unfortunately I do not have any FMLA or short-term disability that would cover these injuries and loss of income.

 

I made this gofundme because I truly need help.
The doctors tell me that there are sizable spots of my hair that will not grow back so wigs will need to be purchased in the future. In the meantime I need help getting my bills paid as this incident has put me out of work.
