Hi everyone,
My name is Nimrat.
I am a South Asian trans woman and a refugee, and it has taken everything in me to get to this point. Leaving behind what I knew, surviving systems that were never built for someone like me, and holding onto hope through fear, loss, and uncertainty — this journey has not been easy.
I am preparing for two deeply important gender-affirming surgeries: Breast Augmentation and a full depth Vaginoplasty. These surgeries are not about appearance. They are about finally feeling safe in my body, about healing a disconnect I have carried for most of my life.
Getting here has taken years of resilience, patience, and quiet strength. While the surgeries themselves are arranged, the time afterward — the healing, the stillness, the vulnerability — is where I truly need support.
During this chapter, I won’t be able to rely on my usual strength or independence. My body will need rest, care, and compassion. This fundraiser exists so I can heal without fear, without rushing, and without feeling alone in the most tender moment of my life.
I want to give my body the kindness it has always deserved — especially after everything it has endured to survive.
Your support helps me:
• Care for my body as it heals
• Access essential post-surgery care and supplies
• Experience stability and peace during a vulnerable time
• Focus on healing instead of survival
Every contribution, no matter the size, is an act of affirmation. It reminds me that my life matters, that my journey matters, and that I deserve to heal with dignity.
For the first time, I am choosing myself fully — not in secrecy, not in fear, but in truth.
If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or holding me in your thoughts is just as meaningful.
Thank you for standing with me.
With love and gratitude,
Nimrat
