My name is Emily:)

I’m excited to share that I’ve been accepted to the Summer Training Program (STP) with The Navigators at YMCA of the Rockies – Snow Mountain Ranch in Colorado. This program is an intensive summer discipleship experience where college students spend several weeks growing in their faith, studying the Bible, building Christian community, and learning how to live out and share the message of Jesus.

Over the past year, my faith has grown a lot through time in Scripture, conversations with friends, and being around other believers who are serious about following Christ. I’ve realized how important it is to be part of a community that encourages spiritual growth and helps each other live with purpose. That’s one of the reasons I’m really excited for this opportunity.

At the Summer Training Program, I’ll be part of a small team of students who will live, work, and study the Bible together throughout the summer. We’ll also connect with people in the local community, build friendships, and look for opportunities to share Christ and serve others. My hope is that this experience will deepen my relationship with God and help prepare me to return to campus in the fall ready to love, encourage, and disciple others.

I am currently financially independent for myself and I work very hard for the money I do have. I come from a low-income background and paying for the full cost of the program on my own is challenging. That’s why I’m raising support to help cover the expenses for housing, program fees, materials, and other costs for the summer.

My fundraising goal is $4,000. Any gift—whether it’s $25, $50, $100, or more—makes a big difference and helps me take part in this opportunity. If you’re not able to give financially, I would also really appreciate your prayers for this summer and for what God will do through the program.
