My name is Eldar Kazanskyi, I’m 19, working full-time, and soon to begin my studies in the Netherlands.

This August, I have the opportunity to attend a Christian conference in London (August 14–17, 2025) — an event that could continue shaping my life in very amazing ways.

Why This Matters So Much ?

I came to the Netherlands from Ukraine in 2022, just 15 years old, carrying a lot of things,trauma, questions, and emotional weight no teenager should have to carry.

For over a year, I was trapped in a dark place: depression, self-hate, anxiety, even suicidal thoughts. I tried everything to numb the pain — partying, smoking, drinking but it didnt really work. I felt like I was falling apart from the inside.

Then one random day, walking on the street in December 2023, I met a few people who offered something simple: to study the Bible together. I never expected that moment to become the turning point of my life.

Since then, I’ve been clean. No substances. No more panic. No more waking up wishing the day was already over. I’m living with purpose again — and now I spend my time helping other young people overcome the same struggles I once faced.
