Help me graduate debt free from Sewanee; my dream
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Aaliyah Daniel from Birmingham, Alabama. I recently graduated as Salutatorian from Woodlawn High School. I am so excited that I have not only been admitted to Sewanee, my dream school, but I have received a scholarship valued at $46,935 per year! I visited Sewanee, a school I had never heard of at the time, this past fall as part of the College Choice Foundation. I had never experienced a campus visit like it. The rigorous academics, enchanting architecture, and family-orientated community immediately drew me in. I felt as if I was essential to the future at Sewanee as it evolves. I find that Sewanee is an extraordinary place where I can thrive and be challenged mentally. My career goal is to become an OBGYN, and I know Sewanee will prepare me for medical school. For my entire life, my mother has struggled financially but she always managed to make ends meet. I was raised in a single parent household and I have learned to value the small things and be appreciative for the opportunities given. Based on my mom's annual salary she will not be able to contribute much to my education. To graduate from Sewanee debt-free, I need @$25,000 over four years in addition to my scholarship and pell grant. I will be forever grateful if I receive the funding to graduate debt-free from Sewanee.
