Braxton to Barça

My name is Braxton DaSilva, I am 14 years old and an 8th grader at Liberty Middle School. Soccer has been a passion of mine since I started playing at age 3.  For the last 10 years I've dedicated much of my time playing competitive soccer for Tri-City United, Dakota ODP state team, and I am currently playing for Sheyenne High School Mustang’s Varsity Soccer team. I am looking for donations to fund my trip to Barcelona, Spain for an opportunity to grow as a player and teammate.

This summer, Barcelona Academy held several soccer camps around the country.  I attended their week-long camp in Minneapolis, training for 8 hours a day with coaches and scouts from Barcelona.  After the camp was over, a select group of players which included myself, received an invite to travel to Barcelona, Spain to train March 2nd -11th, 2024 with the exclusive and renown group of coaches of FC Barcelona.

If I do well there, I have a chance to make it on the Academy team which has produced superstars such as Messi, Iniesta, Puyol and Xavi.  This is an amazing opportunity for me and a dream trip for my family and I.

My portion of expenses (player package, flights, fees & incidentals) is approximately $4000.  Along with my expenses, we are hoping to raise money for my family to travel with me.   In all, we are hoping to raise approximately $10,000.  A few members of my family are also raising money by working at concert/sporting event concession stands. I am also saving money working as a soccer referee when I can. I appreciate any donations trip!
