Help me go to the IMMAF World championships in Uzbekistan!

Hi my name is Meirah Codreanu-Khan, I am 18 years old and fighting out of Martial Art Concepts. I’ve been training mixed martial arts since October 2022 to learn self defence.

A few months into my training I’d fallen in love with MMA and came to the realisation that I wanted this to be more than just a hobby. So for the past 2 years I have been preparing to make my debut as MAC’s first female fighter.

I am very excited to announce that I have been selected by EMMAA (English Mixed Martial Arts Association) to represent our country and compete at the IMMAF world championships in Uzbekistan from November 5th-10th.

MMA isn’t recognised as an Olympic sport and isn’t part of Sport England, meaning I will have to self fund the trip covering flights, accommodation, registration, medicals, etc.
